Band Concert (Belfast Common; 6 PM) Belfast City Council has
proclaimed July as Recreation & Parks Month.
To kick things off, the 195th U.S. Army Band of the Maine
National Guard stages a concert at the Belfast Common amphitheater,
overlooking the harbor.
Everyone is invited to bring a picnic supper, spread out on the
lawn and enjoy the evening's performance by the Army Band's sax quartet
and brass quintet.
The concert is co-sponsored by Friends of Belfast Parks and the
Belfast Parks & Recreation Department.
