Overseers’ Meeting

July 2, 2006

Minutes

Present: President Jo Huntoon; Overseers Peter Allen, Margaret Brockway, Bill Cressey, Linda Houghton, Judy Metcalf, Peter Spollett; Treasurer Julian Sheffield; Secretary Karen Hoedtke.

Metcalf moved and Allen seconded to accept the minutes of the last meeting as revised.

Allen reported that the police will patrol randomly during the day, the times to be set by them. It has been recommended that a line be painted to divide the dock into fishing and no fishing sides.

Metcalf moved, Brockway seconded to authorize Paige to divide the wharf into fishing and no fishing sides. Voted.

Allen also reported that the air conditioning unit on the police car needs repair at a cost of $115. Metcalf moved and Houghton seconded to authorize this expenditure. Voted.

A resident requested that the potholes on Cobe Road be filled; Cressey will put in Paige’s book.

Huntoon supplied a suggested warrant for review. Metcalf moved and Brockway seconded to approve the form and content of the annual warrant and annual report. Voted.

It was noted that the Utility Ordinance had not been included in the warrant and an article to review the revised Utility Ordinance should be inserted. Metcalf moved and Allen seconded to amend the warrant and include the review of the Utility Ordinance. Voted.

Metcalf moved to adjourn at 9:00 a.m.

The next scheduled meeting is July 23.
