Comments & Suggestions… contact us at: northport@gwi.net

We have had great success with our committee structures directed at solving local issues as witnessed by

bullet

the Comprehensive Plan approvals at the State level

bullet

the Harbor Committees development of a working ordinance

bullet

the tidy appearance of the Transfer Station and our ability to get DEP issues behind us

bullet

the Planning Board and ZBA ongoing review process

bullet

the up coming Land Use Ordinance Committee to write some guidelines

bullet

the local citizen effort to focus on the aqua-culture issue

bullet

and Bayside's pending $400,000 grant approval to address the water issue

bullet

BUT…. We can still use additional citizen participation on issues of local importance to include roads & bridges, the SAD 34 funding formula, community public relations and maybe even a volunteer coordinator. Lend a hand. We would welcome your help. No experience necessary.
