Special Town Meeting:  On Comprehensive Plan

The decision was to have a special town meeting on "the plan" and vote the plan at that time in a public forum. Date set for Monday December 8th.

Reviewed Vicki Eugley's (town bookkeeper) comments & recommendations and agreed to follow recommendations to take a reimbursement to Wallace Landscaping from contingency, not from Town Charges. Other accounts to be sensitive to: insurance, landfill, roads & bridges, harbor fund.

SAD 34 reviewed their capital spending and renovation plans relative to up coming Referendum 11/4

Legal & Other Issues

C. Dhyse water project in Temple Heights reviewed. "Revocable License" drafted. Some issues now rest with abutters.  Needs to be resolved before license is granted.   

 

Real Estate Assessors Functions, Tax Policy and Liens & Collections

Re-Val is on going. Be aware of results and responses relative to other local communities. Some interesting issues have been created by the Re-Val. Our Re-Val to be complete by 4/04. 

 

Harbors & Waterways

Burgess to draft letter to DMR re: town's position on Aqua-Culture issue for selectmen's review
