Code Enforcement, Planning & Permits

A Planning Board building permit decision error was discussed related to Shore Road access & Kelly Cove subdivision. Lindahl to contact MMA for guidance to remedy from a procedural standpoint and  report back to Bixler (ZBA) and Foley (Planning Board)

Transfer & Recycling Station

Need year end tonnage/statistics from Pine Tree

Pine Tree to store empty containers/dumpsters in our transfer station in trade for cost of  transporting recyclables to Camden

Pine Tree will supply gravel for an area of about 70x100 where they will store their containers. Magruder costs to Pine Tree just under $3,000. Gravel to be spread at town expense State rate plus 10%.

 

Harbors & Waterways

Mike Brown to seek a request from the Coast Guard for a private aid to navigation for mussel rafts.  Such an aid would be at owner's expense.

Fire and Health & Safety

Status: A committee of three (3) members has been established to complete 911 maps

 

Bayside Village

bullet

Burgess to e-mail Vlodek to coordinate dump runs from Bayside. We would like delivery of trash to be on days when dump is open and operating. Currently Bill Paige is coming in at off-hours. We loose financial control as a result.

Phase II on water down Bluff and Shore Roads. Hearing held 4/14 for CBDG Grant funding. Potential of 34 plus homes to be added to new line.

Status of Water Utility District

Fire suppression objectives broadly discussed. A cross-country water line discussed; pipe specification to be 12" in diameter.

Issue to introduce legislation to change the powers of a Village Corps to appoint a separate CEO from the municipality is on hold and if it proceeds will be introduced as single bill versus an amendment that would/could be tacked on to another bill (if that's clear).
